"I saw Heaven perform on the night of the Summer Solstice Celebration. I was moved, mesmerized and deeply inspired by what I saw, felt, and then experienced myself that night. I have taken dance classes most of my life under the categories of tap, jazz, and ballet. I learned structure and technique, which quickly led me on a path of trying to accomplish "perfect" structure and "perfect" technique. Although this art form is highly admired and indeed takes great skill, to my dismay, I only found myself feeling unfulfilled, riddled with perfection, caught in competition and confined within the rules of what "a dancer" is, or, more correctly stated, what a "good dancer" is. To me, dancing is not about a perfect pirouette; it's about freedom, aliveness, and movement that expresses one's uniqueness and one's celebration of life. It is in each moment a union with God/Goddess/All That Is and an expression of gratittde in motion. That night, I saw Heaven enveloped within that Oneness and how she led many others and myself to that mysterious and blissful Union. That night, I became the dancer I've always wanted to be and I was alive! I was alive! It was poetry in motion! I felt beauty and I felt beautiful. I recently attended Heaven's Sacred Dance Workshop and was amazed to discover parts of myself
I didn't know existed and how movement itself can open one's heart to feel, to be heard, to touch and be touched. There is something magical that happens here because you become changed and your reality changes. Places in yourself and in your reality that were blocked become unblocked, your consciousness expands and you really are FREE. My experience was this: I felt "Love in Motion", I felt loving, and I felt loved. Now that's DANCING!"
